Ben Ten

My London

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is generally extended to refer to the clock or the clock tower as well. This extension is technically incorrect, but its usage is now entirely commonplace. It is the largest four-faced chiming clock and the third-tallest free-standing clock tower in the world. It celebrated its 150th anniversary on 31 May 2009,[4] during which celebratory events took place. The clock was finished being built on 10 April 1858. The clock tower has become one of the most prominent symbols of both London and England, often in the establishing shot of films set in the city.

I like how you have it peeping out from all that foreground material, SAVO, and dominated by that lamp-post.

I like Ray's comment in relation to the lamp post. Yes. I like this POV, of course, but the POV from the top of the London Eye is also magnificent! smile

Ben Ten. The way I see it, it is 07:40 or maybe 19:40

Beautiful how the golden tower stands out from Old Smog.

Well said SAVO, it must feel insulted being called Big Ben all the time. Me, I'd be flattered.

Another London landmark glittering in the sun. Fine photo.
Looks good from this angle peeking above the trees.
Good light on this and the light can be excellent along the river here.
Very nice shot Savo!
