Great B&W and DOF here Savo, a real sense of a grandiose location!

Looks like they ignored you when you politely asked them to move away so you could get a shot of the building, SAVO.

Actually I like it for the people.
Great shot!! Somehow my mind went to the 70's when I saw this - don't know why, they had Kodachrome in the 70's! smile

This does bring back memories, SAVO! I'm glad you showed a view that doesn't include the basilica...and that shows how many people really do swarm around there!
Just look at all those people!! Fine b&w SAVO

Reminds me of Bath: architecture & milling crowds - better temperatures here though

It's good to get away from the crowds isn't it? wink
Good shot Savo, I like that the start of the building on the right, leads your eye all the way round to the left, and the crowds give it a scale, difficult to take places like this, as they are so crowded, but this works well.
SAVO: Thanks a lot Frank, this picture shows a fraction of the people actually there!

This is an unusual view SAVO and the b&w is perfect.

Here in Namibia we have very slow internet. The picture took a few seconds to unveil itself, and so went from a 'quiet & serene' picture to very busy in two seconds wink Have you noticed the guy walking towards the camera, caught in the act of relieving an itch? hahaha! Good b&w
SAVO: Ha ha, I hadn't noticed that before. Thanks for visiting smile
Fine capture Savo. B&W is a good choice.
Too many people for me!
I like this angle that you chose for this different composition of the square SAVO... it is also very nice in B&W to bring out the details of the structure....petersmile

You should have started selling ice cream.

Great b&w conversion.
SAVO: You know, if I clocked that on the day, I'll be sitting on millions now man wink
an unforgettable square, b/w works very well here.
